Banting Almond Chocolate Cookies

Banting Almond Chocolate Cookies. A great treat anytime.

  • Yields: 15 cookies (small) or 4 (big)

Ingredients

2 cups of almond flour

1/2 cup of melted butter

3 T of Xylitol

1 tsp of ground cinnamon

1 tsp of vanilla essence (good quality)

4 blocks of 85% dark Lindt chocolate

Directions

1Preheat oven to 180°C.

2Combine almond flour, xylitol, cinnamon into a bowl.

3Melt the butter and add the vanilla essence.

4Mix the ingredients with your hands until you can roll a ball with the dough.

5Roll a few balls (you can make different size cookies or keep them all the same).

6Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 5 Minutes.

7Remove from the oven and press down on the dough with a fork to form your cookie.

8Place the sheet back in the oven and bake for 15 Minutes.

9Remove from the oven and let cool.

10In the microwave melt the chocolate for 1 Minutes.

11Drizzle over the cookie and enjoy!
