Banting Burger and Chips

Banting Burger and Chips. Healthiest take-away you will ever eat!

Ingredients

8 big Butter Lettuce leaves

250g of full fat Mince

2 T of Olive oil

1 tsp of Steak and Chops

1/2 cup of sliced mixed Peppers (yellow, red and green)

1/4 cup of chopped Onion

1/2 Avocado

1/2 tsp of Lemon juice

4 Slices of Cheddar Cheese

4 Medium sized Mushrooms

4 Romanita tomatoes

1 Packet of Baby Marrow

1 tsp of Salt

1 tsp of Black Pepper

Directions

Mushrooms, Onions and Peppers

1Heat a frying pan to medium to high heat.

2Add 1/2 T of Olive Oil.

3Place chopped onion, pepper and whole mushrooms in frying pan.

4Fry until golden brown.

5Remove from pan and set aside.

Mince

1Heat a frying pan to medium to high heat.

2Add the 1/2 T of Olive oil.

3In a bowl mix the mince with Steak and Chops spice.

4Press the mince down to about 1 cm in thickness.

5Take a cookie cutter or small plastic glass and press circles with diameter of about 5cm-6cm.

6Place the patties in the pan and fry until well cooked for about 4 Minutes on each side.

7Remove from the pan.

Tomatoes, cheese and avocado

1Slice the tomatoes into quarters.

2Slice the cheese into thin slices.

3Mash the avocado to make a guacamole and add the lemon juice to the mixture.

Assemble the burger

1Place a lettuce leave at the bottom.

2Then add the mushroom and pepper, onions, tomatoes.

3Place the patty on top of the mushroom.

4Place the avocado and cheese on top of the patty.

5Lastly, place another lettuce leave to finish the burger.

Zucchini Fries

1Preheat the oven to 180°.

2Spray a flat baking tray with Spray and Cook.

3Cut the baby marrows in quarters.

4Place evenly on the baking tray and cover with olive oil lightly.

5Sprinkle salt and pepper over the baby marrows.

6Place in the oven for 12 Minutes .

7Serve hot.
