Cheese Base Banting Pizza

Cheese base banting safe pizza with bacon or chicken topping.

  • Yields: 2 Servings


Pizza Base

1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

3/4 cup of almond flour

1 T cream cheese

2 T Parmesan cheese

1 egg

1 T Italian herbs

2 T tomato paste

Pinch of salt

Pizza Topping (Bacon)

1 pack of bacon bits

1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 green pepper

1/2 red onion

1 T olive oil

Pizza Topping (Chicken)

2 chicken breasts

1 T chicken spice

1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 green pepper

1/2 red onion

1 cup of sliced mushrooms

1 T olive oil


Pizza Base

1Melt mozzarella cheese in the microwave for 1 minute on high.

2Wait for mozzarella to cool off and add all dry ingredients.

3Mix in egg until dough forms.

4Grease sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray and/or butter.

5Flatten dough on sheet pan.

6Broil for 5 minutes in the oven.

7Take out of oven and let cool.

8Cover the base with tomato paste.

9Add any topping of choice with shredded cheddar cheese.

10Broil again for 3 minutes.

11Take out of oven and serve hot.

Note: Do not use parchment paper for pizza base. Check regularly while broiling to avoid burning base.
