Sesame Crusted Salmon, Bok Choy And Avocado

Sesame Crusted Salmon, Bok Choy And Avocado. Very tasty light lunch or dinner, great if you want to add some fish to your diet.

  • Yields: 2 servings


200g salmon

3 T sesame seeds

1 tsp of chilli flakes

1 tsp of olive oil

2 T of unsalted butter

100g bok choy

3 T of white wine

1/2 avocado

1 tsp of poppy seeds

1/4 lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest




1Heat frying pan to medium to high heat.

2Add olive oil.

3Place sesame seeds, chilli flakes, salt and pepper on to a flat plate.

4Press the pink side of salmon in the sesame seed mix and make sure it is covered.

5Place salmon skin side on to plate for about 3 Minutes to crisp skin.

6Remove from pan and add water to pan.

7Add the butter to the pan and place salmon pink side up back into the pan for another 2 Minutes.

8Take a spoon and scoop butter on salmon until cooked through.

9Heat a wok for the bok choy.

10Add the wine, salt and pepper and cook for 4 Minutes minutes.

11Cut the avocado lengthwise and grate some lemon zest.

12Add the bok choy, then the salmon on top.

13Sprinkle over poppy seed, salt, pepper, lemon juice and lemon zest on avocado.

14Serve and enjoy!
