Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted Cauliflower. A great side dish for any meal!

  • Yields: 2 Servings


350g of cauliflower

3 rashers of bacon

1/2 cup of mushrooms

1/4 cup of peppers

1/2 an onion, chopped

3 tsp of spice for rice

1/4 tsp of paprika

1/2 tsp of salt

1 T of olive oil


1In a pot cook the cauliflower for about 7.5 Minutes on high (cook until tender but not mushy).

2Remove from the pot.

3Preheat the oven to 180°C.

4Place the half-cooked cauliflower on a flat baking sheet.

5Sprinkle with the spice for rice, paprika, salt and olive oil.

6Roast in the oven for about 20 Minutes.

7Heat a frying pan to medium to high heat.

8Cut the bacon rashers into smaller pieces and add to the pan.

9Fry until crispy and then add the mushrooms, peppers and onion and fry until golden brown.

10Remove from the heat.

11Add all of the ingredients together.
