Rosti Burger

Rosti Burger. A very filling everyday meal for the whole family!

Ingredients

Rosti

1/3 cup of almond flour

1/4 cup of flax meal

2 T cup of flax seed

1/2 tsp of salt

1 large egg

1 cup of grated cheddar cheese

4 baby marrows, grated

1 T of olive oil

Mince

250g of full fat mince

1 T of Steak and chops

1 tsp of olive oil

Sauce

1/4 cup of onion chopped

1/4 cup of mushrooms

1/4 cup of mixed peppers

1 tsp of tomato paste

1 tsp of green chilli paste

100 ml of coconut cream

Pinch of salt and pepper

1 tsp of olive oil

1 small baby marrow, chopped

Directions

Rosti

1In a bowl mix the dry ingredients together.

2Whisk the eggs and grate the cheddar and baby marrows.

3Add the eggs, cheddar cheese and baby marrow to the mixture.

4Heat a frying pan to medium to high heat and add the olive oil.

5Roll the batter into balls and firmly press down, making patty-like rostis.

6Place the batter in the pan and fry for about 7 Minutes on each side until the rosti is golden brown.

7Remove from heat and place aside until the other ingredients are ready for compilation.

Mince

1Heat a frying pan to medium to high heat.

2Add the olive oil to the pan.

3Roll mince into balls and firmly press down to create a patty.

4Add patty to the pan and sprinkle with steak and chops.

5Fry on each side for about 7 Minutes until both sides are char grilled.

6Remove and place aside for assembly.

Sauce

1Heat a sauce pan to medium heat.

2Add olive oil.

3Chop onions, peppers, mushrooms and baby marrows.

4Add to the pan to fry for about 5 Minutes.

5Add the tomato paste, chilli paste and coconut cream.

6Let the sauce simmer for about 3 Minutes, constantly stirring the sauce.

7Remove and use for serving.

Assembly

1First add a rosti at the bottom.

2Then add a patty, sauce , cheese and lettuce leaf.

3Lastly, another rosti at the top.

4Enjoy!
